A hilarious redband clip for Paul Rudd's new comedy I Love You, Man has been posted on the film's official website iloveyouman.com - it's only viewable to those who live in the US, but we found the clip for all you international guests. Check it out below:

Gotta love Favreau; some low budget SFX really go a long way in this clip. This movie is continuing to prove that it should be quite the fun spring flick, and hopefully it will set a tone for the rest of 2009 in terms of good comedies.

I Love You, Man hits theaters March 20th and stars Paul Rudd and Jason Segel.

Earlier this week we reported that Summit Entertainment announced a release date for Eclipse - the third film in the Twilight saga. Well now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Summit is in talks with Drew Barrymore and "a select group of directors" to take on the project. This seems fitting due to the outcry from fans when it was announced Catherine Hardwicke would not be returning for New Moon, and was to be replaced by a male director (Chris Weitz). The real question is why Barrymore? To date she has no released material as a director, although her production company Flower Films was responsible for Donnie Darko - which is quite noteworthy. Barrymore's directorial debut entitled "Whip It!" doesn't have a US release date yet - so we really can't say if she has the chops or not.

Summit has been quite busy this week so we'll keep you posted if any new developments unveil.

Ahh February, the month where theaters resemble English dental clinics. This weekend we got a beautiful line up of releases that include Street Fighter: Legend Of Chun Li, Jonas Brothers The 3D Concert Experience, and Echelon Conspiracy (Limited).

The Run Down

Title: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li

Synopsis:
Based on the popular video game franchise, female fighter Chun Li embarks on a quest for justice.

Starring:
Kristin Kreuk, Chris Klein.

Forcast: $4M

Thoughts:
Does anybody even remember Chun Li from the game? Where's Van Damme? Why did they make this movie? The only draw - and this really is a stretch- but the only reason to see this MAYBE would be Vega, but I mean, c'mon everyone just got over the 90's version.

Watch or Avoid: Avoid (unless your a die-hard SF fan)

Title: Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience

Synopsis:
A 3-D concert film of the 2008 Jonas Brothers "Burning Up" concert tour, as well as documentary footage on the lives of the three brothers.
Starring: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas.

Forcast: $30M

Thoughts:
Hannah Montana anyone? This is the mother load of cash grabs. There is absolutely no reason for this to be in 3D - and with a cost of about $100K per screen to show this, you know Disney is thinking every little teen girl is going to freak over these guys "poppin off the screen" and they will, but I would only pay to see them "burnin up" on screen.

Watch or Avoid: Avoid

Title: Echelon Conspiracy

Synopsis
: A young American engineer comes into possession of a cell phone that bestows unlimited wealth upon him, never realizing the danger posed to him by the device until security agents close in and start shooting to kill.

Starring:
Shane West, Edward Burns.

Forecast: $2.5M

Thoughts:
It's Eagle Eye with a cellphone. 'Nuff said, and basically the majority of people haven't even heard of this movie - which is a good thing.

Watch or Avoid:
Avoid

Forecast Re-Cap

It's quite the weekend we got here, with all three movies getting an Avoid rating it look's like your either going to have to stay home, or re-kindle your love for Slumdog and Taken - and if the Jonas Bros' have peaked your interest for some 3D check out Coraline before it leaves theaters next week.

Be sure to check our Weekend Report on Sunday after we (unfortunately) watch these flicks, just to prove that you shouldn't.

The folks over at IGN have posted a redband trailer for Greg Mattola's (Suberbad) new comedy; Adventureland. Check it out below, comments to follow.

I personally think the marketing execs are beginning to take these redband trailers as a joke - I mean we get it, you can have swearing, drugs, and sex in it, but you don't need to point every single time these phenomenons occur in the movie - Regardless the movie looks to be funny, it seems to have a fairly simple plot and will most likely rely on character interaction and dialogue, which were the strengths of Mattola's Superbad. Bill Hader looks to be as funny as always, it should be great to see him opposite Kristin Wiig.

The movie also stars Ryan Reynolds, Jesse Eisenberg, and Kristen Stewart.
Adventureland hits theaters March 27, 2009.

Ok ok I know its called Eclipse relax. According to Variety, Summit Entertainment has given Eclipse - the third movie in the Twilight franchise a release date of June 30, 2010. That's only seven months after New Moon is supposed to be released.

Melissa Rosenberg is adapting a screenplay from Stephenie Meyer's novel, which is about Edward and Bella investigating a murder they suspect a vampire of committing.

Twilight 2 sorry.. New Moon begins production soon and hits theaters this November with new director Chris Weitz.

Were about two weeks away from the Watchmen release date, that mean's a lot of footage is going to start pouring on the web and TV. Which is good, but I personally don't want to see the entire movie before I get to watch it on March 6th, that being said here is a kickass clip presented by director Zack Snyder - doing his best impression of a mac vs pc ad.

A few days ago we posted about Arnold Shwazenegger confirming the rumours that he would shoot a cameo in Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables. Below is a video of Arnie himself stating the fact - but really I'm just using this as an excuse to show how baffled I felt when I watched Shwarzie talk about the budget crisis, I was just in awe that he was actually coming across as an intelligent individual, after you watch the clip, watch the Arnie training vid I posted and you'll see what I mean.

The sixth installment in the Harry Potter franchise hasn't been getting nearly as much press as its predecessors, maybe Pottermania is dying down? Either way the marketing train is starting to board and it seems like fans are either still frustrated with the release date fiasco, or they're saddled up and ready to play some quiditch, regardless this featurette posted over on msn should tailor to both crowds. It's basically a behind the scenes vid showcasing footage from the film intertwined with cast interviews. The cast seems very excited for this one, a little too eager if you ask me, but maybe it's because there just doesn't seem to be much hype for this one, and they have a movie to sell.

What do you think, is Pottermania still alive? Can this movie live up to the previous five?

During the credits of the Oscars last night they showed footage from upcoming 2009 releases. Among the footage were clips from films we haven't seen anything from, such as Public Enemies and Sherlock Holmes. If you happened to miss it here's the 3 minute clip in it's entirety. (blame ABC for the terrible music playing over top)

As if you didn't already know here's proof:

I think that was just rude, as simple as that.

What do you think? Was he out of line?
