Transformers director Michael Bay, has confirmed that we will be seeing Megatron once again in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, the sequel to 2007's blockbuster, Transformers.
Apparently Hugo Weaving, who voiced the character in the first installment "let the cat out of the bag" while talking to a reporter for an Australian magazine, The Advertiser, in the article he stated that he has already recorded his dialogue for the movie, and he's "given out the secret scoop"
Bay who was hoping to keep it all secret had to confirm the rumors after Weaving spilled the beans, he had this to say: "Okay cat is out of the bag. Megatron is back - but you will only get to see him from the long lost past. We go way back in time as this movie explains the mythology of the Primes. He is not a tank like everyone suggests, but an alien vehicle. But sadly he does not have has much screen time."
So there you have it, a flashback with Megatron, yay.
I never really liked Megatron, though an iconic character from the toys, and cartoon, his days on the big screen ended in the first movie - it's time to move on to bigger and better things.
Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen hits theaters June 26, 2009
