Little has be known about Sam Mendes follow up to Revolutionary Road, actually I don't think anyone knew anything about it. Well that's about to change because Focus Pictures has just released a trailer for Away We Go. It's about a couple that decide to travel around the world and find meaning in their life before they have their first baby. Check it:

The movie stars John Krasinski, Maya Rudolph, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Catherine O’Hara, Jeff Daniels and Allison Janney. Hits theaters June 5th, 2009.

Recently, Pixar has released an extended trailer for their new movie, 'UP', coming out May 29, 2009.

I am a Pixar Fangirl, so I'm a little bit biased when it comes to their movies, but even I recognize that the trailer is a little bit choppy. I'm thinking they just don't want to give anything away, plot-wise.
But still, this trailer gives us a nice glimpse at the characters and introduces us to a few others that weren't in the teaser trailer, such as the dog, Doug.

Anyways, this looks awesome. And I can't wait to see it in 3D (it's Pixar's first Disney Digital 3D movie, if I'm not mistaken) when it comes out in May!

PS: Check out Disney▪Pixar's Facebook Page for photos, trailers and special Minisodes (called UPisodes) featuring the lead characters!

Having not being that big of a fan of the whole Star Trek culture, I'll admit that when I heard the news of JJ Abrams decision to "reboot" the franchise, I was quite neutral to the whole concept. Really the only thing that seemed somewhat appealing to me about the project was just.. JJ Abrams.

After seeing the first teaser trailer, my thoughts never really changed, but after viewing this new full length trailer, I can safely say that I am down for some Trekkie action, and alien Eric Bana.

Check it out:

How amazing is that music? Taking a lot of cues from The Dark Knight soundtrack. The only thing I'm still not sure about, is the casting choices, they seem a little immature in my opinion, but maybe that's because this is a sort of "origin" plot, and they're supposed to seem reckless and fun.

Star Trek opens on May 8th, 2009.

Finally Warner, who has been very busy marketing their summer blockbusters this week, has released a trailer for Michael Mann's "Public Enemies". The movie stars Johnny Depp has the notorious gangster John Dillenger, who is running from top FBI agent Melvin Purvis, played by Christian Bale. I know, Depp Vs Bale? I am so down. I've been excited about this project since it was announced way back, and the trailer has meets all expectations.

Public Enemies opens April 1st, 2009.

The folks over at IGN have posted a redband trailer for Greg Mattola's (Suberbad) new comedy; Adventureland. Check it out below, comments to follow.

I personally think the marketing execs are beginning to take these redband trailers as a joke - I mean we get it, you can have swearing, drugs, and sex in it, but you don't need to point every single time these phenomenons occur in the movie - Regardless the movie looks to be funny, it seems to have a fairly simple plot and will most likely rely on character interaction and dialogue, which were the strengths of Mattola's Superbad. Bill Hader looks to be as funny as always, it should be great to see him opposite Kristin Wiig.

The movie also stars Ryan Reynolds, Jesse Eisenberg, and Kristen Stewart.
Adventureland hits theaters March 27, 2009.

Were about two weeks away from the Watchmen release date, that mean's a lot of footage is going to start pouring on the web and TV. Which is good, but I personally don't want to see the entire movie before I get to watch it on March 6th, that being said here is a kickass clip presented by director Zack Snyder - doing his best impression of a mac vs pc ad.

A trailer for Judd Apatow's latest comedy Funny People has appeared online today - via Moviefone. Check it out below, comments to follow.

As you can see it's quite different than Apatow's normal fair, it's actually borderline depressing. I am a little bit unsure on this one right now, on one hand I'm glad the crew behind a movie like Walk Hard is trying a new formula, but sometimes when something isn't broken, why try and fix it. I am digging the vibe its giving off though, there is a definite sheen to the film quality, and this may be Adam Sandler's trip back to adult comedy.

Funny People hits theaters July 31, 2009.

I almost don't even want to post this, but if you happen to come across this direct to DVD sequel at Wal-Mart, maybe I can save you 20 bucks. Still Waiting is the followup to the Ryan Reynolds restaurant comedy that was actually pretty funny, good supporting cast, and a laid back plot made it an enjoyable watch. But the fact that this new one has none of the key cast members from the first, nor does it follow any continuous plot line with the original, makes this movie fairly useless. If you find anything funny in this trailer, watch the original, you won't regret it.
